SEIKO QUARTZ CHRONOMETER QM-11

Using high-precision quartz crystal oscillator(TCXO), QM-11 is specially designed to maintain high accuracy constantly even under harsh environmental conditions.

In addition to the high accuracy and excellent durability, the Chronometer is equipped with water resistance equivalent to IPX3(JIS 3rd class), thus being highly suitable for use on board a ship.

Furthermore, it is housed in a gorgeous wooden frame case, which makes it fit nicely in any type of rooms as a charming piece of furniture.

Besides being a marine chronometer, QM-11 can serve as a clock that provides the standard time at various places where highly accurate time indication is required.

Features

The Chronometer QM-11 operates with an accuracy of daily loss/gain of within ±0.1 seconds at a temperature of 25°C, and within ±0.2 seconds in the temperature range between 0°C`40°C.

The second hand advances at 0.5-second intervals.

Using waterproof gaskets for its case and glass, the Chronometer is equipped with an excellent water resistant quality that can withstand even harsh environmental conditions.

Featuring a wooden frame case, it is an elegant-looking chronometer of a portable type that permits installation in any type of rooms as a piece of furniture.

The sophisticated high-precision mechanism is neatly housed in the compact case.

The Chronometer allows easy operation and maintenance.

The hour and minute hands can be adjusted easily with the hand setter knob, and the second hand adjustment can be made by pressing a button.
The Chronometer also has a battery lid that is easy to remove for battery, replacement procedure.

Being equipped with a secondary battery, the Chronometer continues operating for approximately 40 hours after the dry batteries have run down.

This also means that the clock operation does not stop even during the battery replacement procedure.
The three R20/D manganese dry batteries that power the Chronometer will last approximately 1 year.
